Whakapapa Ski Field
In August, we had our annual ski trip to the Scouting NZ lodge at Whakapapa ski field. We arrived the day after a huge dumping of snow, and had to stop at the base for a snowball fight before continuing up.
The skiing was fantastic, and check out that view from the lodge. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so we're looking forward to next year's trip!
If you're not yet a member of cubs, scouts or venturers at Southern Cross, but like the look of what you see, come along to cubs, scouts or venturers along with some warm clothes to sail in and see what Southern Cross is all about. Hopefully you can join us here next year!
